i thought since i have just finished wrapping up spinning for the winners and getting their requests sorted out for the art raffle that its time i do another artist shoutout. if you love y2k webcore 2000s, whatever im supposed to call it type art, prepare to be delighted in this installment

i hope you're sitting down when you learn that this fantastic artist only has 7 followers, because that fact certainly knocked me off my feet. seeing a fantastic artist with so few followers is like watching the wings get ripped off an angel, and hopefully this shoutout can help remedy that just a little.

beautiful, nostalgic and dreamlike. this is just one of those artworks that speaks for itself on how great it is. its like a portal back to 2010 but even better. a very mystical (dare i say whimsical) illustration that feels grand in scale. i need not go on further.

the creepypasta vibes in this one are SO on point. if for some reason you follow me for both my work on pokemon mystery meat and my mlp fan art, you're in for a big treat here. i literally feel like a kid again discovering those creepy mlp speedpaints on youtube again looking at this. again, i dont have to go on for long to get my point across on how awesome this artist is.

i was big into the classics as a kid. "what do you mean, whimsical-wife? you mean like mozart or something?" ABSOLUTELY NOT. im talking banithekitty, im talkin splashkittyartist, im talkin kay2036. i love those funky critters and you should too. i think its very awesome that even in current day i can find artists like f4t4lfrankie who perfectly capture such aesthetics.

i dont even gotta TELL you those critters are cute, you already KNOW it. the colors are beautiful. i love purple and pink and the chosen shades of it work excellently here. the stylization of the cats (assuming species here because it was also tagged with sparkledog) is very adorable. the backround is a simple but beautiful galaxy. the patterns on the creatures are fantastic as well! almost reminds me of those old postcard pets from lps, but id go as far to say as i like these guys better.

YOU LOVE NYAN CAT, READER. sorry for yelling, but i KNOW YOU DO. if not you must assimilate IMMEDIATELY. this is a very faithful recreation of the original nyan cat animation. not going to lie this hits like all the bases for me. cute pink cat soaring through space? with RAINBOW sprinkles? Delightful and magical. You'll definitely want to check out the link for this artwork as there is a second gif of equal quality in it that i did not feature. great cat, great animation, GREAT day.
