This is my whimsical recap threaddd 

Not gonna recap too much besides some big stuff!

in March I co-hosted the pokemon mysterymeat collab, along with making the art for the game and making a bonus lore comic (rip queen!). Made me realize how much I loved collabs and also made me want to do occasional horror art! Speaking solely on my contributions to the story, I could've done better. There was a bit of a crunch with the collab to meet the schedule after some plans made, and I don't think I handled as well as I could've! I tried though, loved this collab!

in July, I hosted the lps collab. it wasn't very popular but there was some amazing submissions! if anything, I'm glad to have been able to have given a little bit of nostalgia for this franchise to people. I feel like there's various factors to why this collab wasn't as popular, but I don't regret it one bit

also in July, I had a request thread open on the art forum! I wanted to open a request thread, but wanted to keep it manageable so I decided to keep what I was drawing low effort. I'm very glad that everyone seemed to love it, and I still see people using the art I made them for this thread today. which makes me really happy! I hope to start this thread back up again soon, but I'm juggling a lot of projects so no guarantee on that happening too fast!

in October, the best collab I was a part of this year released!

I was so nervous posting pokemon variance collab initially, but was absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Yall we're so supportive with that one, and it's just awesome. There were so many fun and awesome forms designed. the collab was also a huge success! frontpaged, daily feature, weekly second and review crew pick. I'm very grateful to all the people who helped in any way with the collab, whether you joined it or helped bring the game to life because i KNOW I couldn't have done this collab alone. thank you all!! my friends really want me to host another pokemon collab, so maybe there's something in 2025 cooking? who knows, no promises ;)

thank you to @drazah , the first friend I made on this site. I'm so glad to share so many inside jokes and video game talks with you. youve always been there for me even if you didnt know what to say, i know youll always have my back. Things are tough but WE'RE TOUGHER. May 2025 take us to gmod heaven

And @crockettdk , who is probably about the 2nd friend I made on this site. it's crazy to see how far you've grown since we first met, and all the work you do on here is truly impressive. You've always treated me well as well as giving me opportunities to do a little work on your projects. I'm very thankful to know you, I hope success follows you wherever you go next! 

@wvdb you are my HOMIE. you are my SWANSEA. It took me a while to realize how wonderful of a trait your honesty was, but I'm grateful I have someone like you to keep me grounded when I get a little delusional. Never underestimate a friend who tells you the hard truth, because that's what true love looks like 

@yosos ahehe. what's there to say. haiii yosos. I can't type this bro I'm getting flustered 😰😰😰 Yosos is very sweet and dedicated to his art. Also he's the anya to my curly (in the sense he's a nurse and I'm the.. captain? I DONT CLAIM THE BAD CURLY TRAITS.) Please sleep normally thank you mwah

@doumierstar DOUMIERR... my goat.. Literally not joking when I say this girl is my evil clone. I'd go thru what we both went thru a million times over just because it means I got to be your friend. YOU ARE A REAL ONE !!

@foodrelatedlove dunno if there's much to say since you're not too active on newgrounds, but you've been with me since I was 15! my longest time friend. you've always been such a good listener and I appreciate you. I think we're a lot a like in every aspect! thank u for always being there

@EmsDeLaRoZ you have always been so nice to me!! this guy is so genuine and deserves more followers. Very good vibes, I don't think he has a mean bone in his body. he was also a big help on the variance collab! super easy and reliable guy to work with, cannot recommend him enough 

@creeperforce24 you are also so nice! I'm very grateful that despite who you thought I'd be, you were willing to hear me out and get to actually know me. You're very chill and similarly easy to work with like ems. was very happy to help you with an album cover. congrats on 500!

@rosarjc you make the most awesome fanart for me! seriously, if you guys haven't followed this guy you NEED to. even removed from making me fanart, his artwork is always super detailed and distinct. criminally underrated artist.

@vampfairyx , @sparkeybro , @SilkCaesar , @uraniaharmonia thank you for being a homie! even if we don't talk much, I appreciate a lot when we do. yall are great!

And thank you to anyone who looks at my art. I definitely notice the people who frequently review/favorite and I'm super grateful for you all. I hope I can continue to make art that you love! I'm very happy that you found worth enough in what I make to stick around in the first place. newgrounds wouldn't be awesome without people like you!

2024 started out rough for me, but I'm very happy where I am now. I've learned a lot about confidence, honesty, friendship and ambition (my twilight sparkle arc??) It's been horribly stressful at times, but I'm grateful for all the lessons I've learned. I hope i can continue to grow both personally and artistically in the coming year. see yall in 2025, hopefully it brings lots of fun, new stuff for us all!
