thru the bbs during the summer of 2021! he had messaged me himself to ask if i wanted to hang out on discord with him and some other users.

we've been in a couple of collabs together, i suppose the most notable one would be his entry for the pokemon variance collab which i had hosted. he also gave some early feedback on the backrounds and caught some errors i missed, so thank you drazah!

the countless amount of time he's made me laugh so hard that the laughing could've qualified as an asthma attack. thank you "they call me the toucher" "(scared spongebob image)".

His persistence, he never gives up ever and never stops no matter how hard you ask and beg him to. He endures and remains like a human cockroach but even more resilient some how. No matter how much you push him and punch him and kick him away he will still be there stuck to u like an infection that no antibiotics could ever hope to cure.

yeah! he voice acted in my cartoon in 2021 (dont watch it though), he animated a voice thing i gave him and uploaded it, and helped me write some animations!

probably a cancelled pilot they worked on. it makes me proud how far he's come as an artist and as a person.

how far he's come as an artist. when i see something he's worked on either a year or two ago or older and compare it to his newer works, it blows my mind to see how he's evolved, and how he took the time to get better at his craft. that will always be inspirational to me.

i've learned to be more mature, have less temper prone, and smarter. i'll always be eternally grateful to him for that.

QUESTION 1: How did you meet this user?

I don't remember, maybe around summer 2023 when I started checking and reading the BBS forums (maybe around July/August.) His stuff didn't clicked until about spring 2024, when he redesigned Pip again and even his line art seems charming and unique for something like MS Paint!

QUESTION 2: Have you done any work together on the site? If not, would you like to?

We did a art trade with our amphibian characters (Axley and Cybernewt), back in November 2024. We also did a Aggie together last month, but just for a bit.

I would still like to collab more with him (like a crossover with our characters, or whatever stuff we do), but it's up to him.

QUESTION 3: What's your favorite memory with them?

I would also say the art trade. It was the first time I was doing this kind of stuff. But Neb was kind enough to help me through, and it was all chill. We also messed around on the Discord DMs.

QUESTION 4: Is there anything in particular that reminds you of them?

We have a rabbit character that is friends with a amphibian that both are on the same age (Cenen is 16, and Axley is 15), he created a account around the similar time as my first art uploaded on the site in 2023 after four year of nothing, and we both have similar interest and hobbies.

Being a funny, cool, a chill dude on the community

Probably in facial impression on his drawings, and those vibes from his drawings or whatever projects he does.

Well the thing is, he's my first close online friend after all that. At first I was feeling a bit nervous for becoming a online friend of him, because I was trying to keep my expectations in check, or even thinking people wouldn't like me for some reason. But after becoming good friends with him with that, It kinda shows that there will be people that will be welcoming to you.

And thanks to him, I was able to make some more good friends in the community not just him.

Nebulate's quite a underrated artist, with some cool ideas with some charm to it that semi-inspired me for that. Even though he doesn't have the best productivity (like me sometimes), I'm still curious about what he will be cooking for now, and even improve on with his art.

Yeah, quite a lot, he has helped with a lot of art for some of my projects, like BBS Awards and some other things, which is really cool.

Finding out he joined the Soup Squad (my silly crew I made once) with a bunch of other Clock Crew members, this was hilarious in my opinion, but I wasn't too active in my own crew for some time, apparantly it was less hilarious for some of the others there.

Never take crews to seriously guys, it was objectivly hilarious

She helped make the major redesign for Mace, the sona-adjacent OC with the intent of being the opposite of my main sona in mind. The result turned out to be so cool

Besides the random DMs and the Mirrored-kirbs redesigning process, just having fun on Halloween of 2024 within my own server even if it was roleplaying chaos

Beetlejuice, mainly in terms of their sona concepts and said Halloween roleplaying madness lol

Again, the Mace redesigns which I'll forever be grateful for, along with just genuinely being a good friend when things go rough for me ever so often

The first thing that comes to mind is her submission for the [adult swim] collab, I love Samurai Jack and admire how she took the problem of multiple people wanting to rep that show into a mini collab that looked fun

When I was 7 years old I randomly came across one of his songs on YouTube, and the minute I clicked, he became a favorite musician of mine. But I soon forgot him until rediscovering him through Geometry Dash!

QUESTION 2: Have you done any work together on the site? If not, would you like to?

No, and I would like to someday. To collaborate with waterflame has been one of my biggest dreams since I was 11 years old, which is when I guess I became a super fan of his work XD

QUESTION 3: Is there anything in particular that reminds you of them?

Hmmm, not really actually, but honestly, that’s a good thing, he’s one of a kind, someone that would be insanely hard, if even possible to find again.

QUESTION 4: What have they done that you are most thankful for?

His music in general, and the fact that he linked his Newgrounds page, introducing me to this wonderful website we call NG. He also introduced me to Breakbeat Paradise in 2023, though I think it’s been shut down or closed for some reason, but atleast I got a ton of amazing samples :D

-Can’t Sleep-, this was the song that gave me the inspiration to start making music myself. This song is the reason I’m on Newgrounds today.

His music, and overall just his comforting atmosphere he has in his QnA’s on YouTube waterflame made back in 2014, he just hit different back then.

Music production, and oddly, I have a feeling I wouldn’t be as interactive with my own fans if it wasn’t for him as well, he’s a lot more interactive then most musicians of his popularity.

… When I asked him for advice on making music when I first got FL, he told me this in a YouTube comment section on one of his videos this exactly…

I’ve met a ton of people on this website, all because I clicked a cool link in his YouTube desc, and now I’m here, with some actually listenable music, a “fanbase”, a youtube channel, and a lot more! I’ve learned and experienced a lot on this website, and I am so thankful I found his music. He’s a seriously amazing musician, and I truly mean that, his music has inspired many of my songs, to this day he’s still someone I look up to… thank you Waterflame!…
